Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more efficient, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on a variety of floor types. Choose models that allow users to select between different modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the best models are compatible with smartphones. Find an app that allows you to save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the behavior of the S1.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues traversing the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an efficient solution for your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a variety of innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just drag the pad across it. cheap robot vacuum can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.
The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges to reach those areas the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled whenever required. It comes with a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily removes most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with a pair of spin mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation whenever required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure a thorough, customized clean is completed.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned the dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one area to another without having to reverse direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than some competitors however, and tends to leave a large margin around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop settings and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video supervision. You'll require a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are great in removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach all dust. It is important to clean frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to do just that. It is easy to connect to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's less expensive because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and has an aluminum body.
Even though it's not able to clean your floors, the Q5 still has some of the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa power to tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets as well as hard flooring. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested did not show problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home this will allow it to enter places that other vacuums can't reach. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters, which reduces the cost of using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets and increase suction if necessary. The app also allows you to mark areas you want to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
